Kheerganga is perched at the elevation of 13,051 feet above sea level. There you can experience lush green forest trails, alpine meadows, wildflowers, Deodar forests, snow-clad peaks of the Parvati Mountain Range and Parvati River. To start trekking on this route first you have to go to Kasol, then the actual trek route starts from Barshaini. Barshaini is a small town in the Parvati Valley area, Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh. It is the last town of this area and is located just before the Kheerganga Trekking destination.

Till Kasol all mobile networks will work fine but when you will start your trekking from Barshaini you will find that only BSNL network will work, even at the top of the Kheerganga side. The only thing you have to do is that before the commencement of trek is just inform your relatives and friends about the same so they will not worry about you.
